Cairo - Egypt's Minister of Finance Amr El Garhy will participate Friday in the annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), scheduled to be held on South Korea's island of Jeju. According to a statement issued by the ministry, Garhy was invited to give the introductory speech at the meeting's main session. The minister will focus on Egypt's support to the AIIB's strategy and targets, topped by promoting means of financial integration among the member states and international institutions in order to bridge the investment gap in infrastructure. On the sidelines of the meeting, Garhy is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings in order to review the latest developments of the economic reforms adopted by the Egyptian government in addition to means of promoting cooperation with Cairo's international partners.
