The Egyptian Security Council on Thursday decided to promptly clarify the circumstances of the EgyptAir flight MS804 plane's disappearance in cooperation with France and Greece, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi's press office said in a statement. The meeting of the Council, headed by Sisi, was held following the news about the MS804 disappearance en route from Paris to Cairo. The aircraft reportedly went off radar screens 10 miles into Egyptian airspace. The Council also decided to continue searches of the passenger plane with the help of the country's navy and aviation, and to provide aid to the families of the people on board the lost aircraft. According to EgyptAir, there were a total of 66 people on board the plane, including 56 passengers.
