Minister of Investment, Ashraf Salman inaugurated Saturday evening the Nile Ritz-Carlton hotel, which cost nearly EGP one billion, Youm7 News reported. A number of ministers and public figures have attended the inauguration ceremony. Salman stressed that the inauguration of the Nile Ritz-Carlton hotel represents a reassuring message to the world, pointing to the importance of tourism, which represents 15% of GDP, stressing the need to overcome the current crisis. Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zazou asked the attendees for a moment of silence out of respect for the victims of terrorism in France, saying it is message to the world from the civilized Egypt. He pointed out that as similar message will be sent Sunday during the launch of "Sharm El Sheikh in our Hearts," campaign to promote for domestic tourism in the city. Zazou, said: "at Giza pyramids, we will send a message to the whole world in solidarity with the victims of terrorism and we will soon overcome this crisis thanks to everyone's solidarity."
