Egypt's Court of Cessation continues the consideration of the appeal submitted by Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders, Safwat Hegazy and Mohamed Al-Beltagy against the verdict to imprison them for torturing two policemen, Al Bawaba News reported Wednesday. Cairo Criminal Court has sentenced them to 10-year in prison in accusation of torturing a police officer and a soldier in Rabaa Square during their sit-in protesting the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. The prosecution accused the defendant of inciting violence, torturing and forcefully detaining citizens and joining outlawed organization.
