Egypt's Minister of Supply, Khaled Hanafi, has announced iron companies reduced production in Oct., compared to Sept., making a decrease of 367 thousand and 522 tons, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. The Oct. production has reached 89 thousand and 967 tons while production in Sept. reached 137 thousand and 788 tons, he said. "The companies that set maximum prices this month, are EZDK, at 4990 pounds per ton, Bishay group at 4900 per ton, "Solb Masr" at 4900 pounds, and "Masr Le Alsolb" at 4900 pounds." he added. Sayyed Haggag, Head of Supply Sector in the Internal Trade Ministry indicated theSupply Investigations have intensified regulatory on the companies, factories and the wholesale and retail iron dealers to ensure compliance with the maximum rates.
