Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesperson announced Friday at least 24 ISIS militants were killed and another 19 were injured in air bombardment in Anbar, west of the capital Baghdad, according to Iraqi press. "The aerial bombardment targeted a meeting of ISIS leaders in Qaim, western Anbar province, killing 24 militants and injuring 19 others in a preliminary count," a statement issued by Interior Ministry read. "We will inform the Iraqis the names of the killed and injured later," the statement added. In Aug. 2014, the U.S. formed an international coalition against ISIS to curb advances made by the terrorist group which had already captured large swathes of Iraq and Syria.
