Afghanistan's senior Shiite community leader, Mohamed Mohaqiq announced Saturday that Islamic State (IS) jihadist group is responsible for kidnapping dozens of Shiite in February. Mohaqiq pointed out that two former Taliban leaders Abdullah Kaka and Mansur Dadullah, who pledge their allegiance to IS were responsible for the kidnapping of 31 members of the minority Shiite Hazara community on February 24 in Zabul province, southern Afghanistan. "The two Islamic militants have simply changed their white flag of the Taliban for the black IS flag", Mohaqiq said. It is the first time a senior Afghan leader accuse IS of kidnapping of Shiite people.
