Horoscopes:
More than hot air
By Imhotep
Earth to you, my very grounded dear Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) are sometimes called. Something, or someone, has launched you into space -- you are literally reaching out for the stars. Your heart is circling in a universe of its own. Getting away to think is great, but don't get lost out there.
Sea Goats are characteristically level-headed and practical people. So please don't dig the ground from under your own feet -- or shall I rather say hooves, or caudal fin. Keep an eye out for a romantic mentor now -- someone who's been there and done everything you haven't before. Someone who has a unique, helpful and funny perspective to share -- a Piscean, perhaps or an Aquarian. This person may not take the form you expect. Look out for them.
Get yourself a nice, refreshing beverage, get someone to cook your favourite meal, preferably at home in the sheer loveliness of romantic domesticity. And, forget about anything but enjoying your peaceful dinner and cozy surroundings. Decision-making should definitely be the last thing on your mind.
There is a lot of illusion in your life right now, my dear Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan-19 Feb) are sometimes called. But, you'll see through it when you need to. Your keen intuition is creating a roadmap for you to follow. All you need to do is accept the truth and keep moving forward. You promised yourself, and others, many terribly serious things. For crying out loud, make those pledges and resolutions a reality.
Don't make your speech just hot air. A friend who thinks they need to apologise to you may be preparing to do just that. If you are feeling generous, give them a helping hand. It's only fair. You know that they know they were wrong, so let them off the hook.
Later in the month, someone very close to you who's been there for you many times will need you in the worst way. They may be too proud, or too shy or just embarrassed to mention it, however, so offer to help because they probably won't ask.
Indeed, a loved one is about to confide in you and not just any old secret, either. They'll be confiding something you really wouldn't know what to do about. While you'll be open to hearing all about it, be prepared to make some quick decisions.
In the meantime, a certain someone at the work place has piqued your curiosity. In fact, there is a secret you've just discovered about them. You are having a serious problem stopping yourself from thinking about it. Please do control yourself. Curiosity killed the cat.
Magic is certainly in the air, my dear Dolphins, as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) are sometimes called. And it is all around you -- even more than usual amount that you create by virtue of your very presence that is.
Ready to take intimacy up a notch? Change your standpoint of life and love. Being timid about getting to the bottom of something in the realm of romance wouldn't do anyone any favours. Even if it is just your own feelings you are trying to figure out. Get serious about doing something.
Enjoy the weeks ahead. The stars wish you to. Imhotep foresees happiness in store for you. If it's something you've never seen, never even thought about experimenting with, or someone you would have sworn you'd never hang around with, they are on your list now. Be prepared for magical moments.
You may think your feelings for that certain someone are blindingly obvious, but it is amazing how shy other people can be. Go ahead and drop a hint -- or maybe two or three. If all else fails, ask them out.
Thinking the person you love is secretly out to get you? Well stop it. Circumstances will soon prove that you were wrong. If you don't you'll have some explaining to do -- which, of course, is never easy for anyone.
