Horoscopes:
Opening the mind
By Imhotep
It is easy to get lost in details, my dear Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) are sometimes called. And, that is especially so if you are tempted to take control of the lives of your loved ones.
Sometimes you just need to tell people what the desired results are and let them surprise you with their ingenuity. Trust others and learn how to delegate authority. No matter how powerful you are, you cannot do everything single-handedly.
Late July is an especially romantic time for Sea Goats. Sure it is natural to think about how a romantic situation might evolve, but don't get too carried away with your fantasy. It might prove distracting when it comes to what's really going on.
This soulful connection is so strong that you are tempted to drop everything to try and make it happen. Please, don't. Imhotep counsels caution. If it is meant to be, nothing you can do can mess it up. If, on the other hand, it is wrong or harmful to you in the long-run, then nothing you can do can make it work.
It is time to make sense of those recurring fantasies, my dear Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan-19 Feb) are sometimes called. No matter what your loved ones say, you are the only one who has the final say about your true desires. Listen to that inner voice. It's telling you the truth.
A sincere effort may be sloppy. You'll know when you've gone far enough. Outside guidance is welcome, although you'll never learn if you lean too much on others. This is the first stage of becoming an expert, my dear Water Bearers. Wouldn't it be better to just do it rather than look back later and wish that you had? You only live, and love, once. So instead of bidding your time and gathering more information, consider being your usual bold and straightforward self.
That means that you must not make big decisions in isolation, nor that you have to do everything yourself. You know that you are passing through a critical phase of your life. But remember, dear Water Bearers, that each successive stage of existence unfolds more goodness and love.
Shout at the Devil if he tells you otherwise.
Where others might see a tangled mess, my dear Dolphins, as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) are sometimes called, you find beauty in the chaos. This is the strangest aspect of the innate nature of true Dolphins. These fun-loving creatures are free spirits, but they are also social beings. Just watch the Dolphins swim freely in the open seas in large groups like one big happy family. At any rate, teasing out the twists and turns in the current situation you find yourself in is a pleasure for you and you're just the one for the task.
The Stars are adding a few extra tricks to your romantic repertoire, and even you could be surprised by what you've got up your sleeves. Go ahead -- impress and amaze. You are a natural communicator, a purveyor of good tidings.
Others may be dragging around, but if the Stars have anything to say about it, you have got a spring in your step and a song in your heart -- not to mention a certain irresistible glow. Shine on.
The last week of July is conducive to matters of the heart so if you've got e-mails to reply to or calls to make, don't delay -- July might have 31 days, but it is a very short month... the days just fly away. But early August, you are likely to be rather occupied with other, less romantic affairs.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Aries, Taurus and Gemini
