Morsi supporters hold limited Friday protests
Muslim Brotherhood supporters continue protests on Friday in numerous Egyptian cities to demand the reinstatement of ousted president Mohamed Morsi

Supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi held protests in several regions of Egypt on Friday, continuing to demand that Morsi be reinstated.
Small demonstrations were held in Cairo's Helwan and Ain Shams districts, in Giza's Haram district, in the coastal city of Alexandria and in Aswan.
The protesters, who have condemned Morsi's ouster on 3 July as an "illegitimate military coup", chanted against the current "military rule" under the leadership of General Commander of the Armed Forces Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
Military and police forces blocked several main squares and streets around Cairo in expectation of protests on Friday after the National Alliance in Support of Legitimacy, an Islamist group that supports former president Morsi, announced plans to demonstrate.
Morsi supporters, led by the Muslim Brotherhood, have held protests regularly since his ouster on 3 July. However, these protests have progressively dwindled in size and impact.
The Brotherhood has been reeling since 14 August, when a security crackdown forcibly dispersed two large pro-Morsi protest camps. Many of the organisation's key figures are now in detention with their assets frozen.
