Diwan Bookstore will host renowned Egyptian writer and novelist, Mekkawi Said, on Thursday, 3 October, at its Maadi store to sign his latest book, Ahwal Al-Ibad (The Circumstances of the People).
The book comprises short stories, articles and tales that Mekkawi wrote in the aftermath of the January 25 Revolution.
The book carries the following subtitle "A writing outside Classifications."
Mekkawi Said, born in 1956, is an Egyptian writer and novelist, best known for his novel Taghreedat AlBag'a (The Swan Song).
