IMF delegation to meet opposition figure Hamdeen Sabbahi

Egypt's Popular Current leader Hamdeen Sabbahi is to meet with an IMF delegation Saturday evening at the movement's headquarters in Giza.
The meeting was called for by the IMF delegation as part of scheduled meetings with several opposition figures in Egypt.
According to the Popular Current's Facebook page, Sabbahi will announce the reasons behind his rejection of the loan and its conditions during the meeting.
“The movement will also stress its welcoming any unconditioned support for the Egyptian economy,” added the statement.
Last November, the Popular Current launched a campaign against the loan, accusing the IMF of “causing our [Egyptians] poverty” and that the loan aimed at interfering in Egypt's politics.
A delegation from the IMF arrived in Egypt Wednesday to resume talks with the Egyptian government over the planned loan.
Earlier Saturday, the IMF delegation met with representatives of the Salafist El-Nour Party.
