Qatari club Al-Gharrafa have expressed their interest in signing West Bromwich Albion Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie during the current summer transfer window, a report by Sky sports revealed on Tuesday. "The cash-rich Qatar-based outfit are readying a lucrative deal as they bid to tempt the player away from The Hawthorns," the report said. Despite the fact that he is enjoying life in the Premier League, the 31-year old player is reportedly considering the idea of playing in the Middle East despite his coach Steve Clarke's affirmations that he would like to keep him on. At the same time, West Brom officials are ready to discuss the offer but they are looking for an ideal replacement before taking the final decision. Odemwingie joined West Brom in 2010 from Russia's Lokomotiv Moscow. He scored 11 goals for the club in all competitions last season.
