The British Prime Minister David Cameron welcomes the inclusive government that Mohamed Morsi declared his willingness to create following his election as Egypt's first President in the post-Mubarak period, the website of the British Embassy in Cairo said on Monday. Cameron wished Morsi success in the mission of ending the transition from authoritarianism to democracy and building the "stable inclusive and prosperous future which Egyptians deserve." Also, Cameron revealed his readiness to work with Morsi and his awaited government on files of mutual interest, especially those related to peace and security in the Middle East. Yesterday, UK Foreign Minister William Hague, for his part, stated: "Congratulations to the Egyptian people for the successful conclusion of a fair and transparent election."
