Ittihad Jeddah hoping to extend six-month loan deal of Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou

Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah have stepped up their interest in extending the loan deal of Egypt and Ismaily midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou after receiving approval from coach Raul Caneda, Saudi newspaper Al-Jazeera reported Sunday.
"Ittihad Jeddah's management announced that they were working on making new signings based on the coach's demands," said Al-Jazeera. "Spanish coach Raul Caneda asked the Ittihad management to extend the stay of Abd-Rabou after his superb performance with the team."
"The position of the team's domestic and foreign players is to be announced at a press conference in June," Ittihad's general manager announced in a recent statement.
Ismaily midfielder Abd-Rabou, who joined Ittihad Jeddah on a six-month loan deal in January, has been instrumental in the squad since his arrival.
