The VesselFinder ship-tracking website showed on Monday's dawn that Ever Given ship blocking the Suez Canal since Tuesday has been re-floated successfully. According to Ever Given's real time position that has been displayed by VesselFinder, the 400-metre-long vessel is now closer to be in a parallel position to the Suez Canal's bank after being stuck sideways for almost a week. The maritime services provider Inchcape has also announced that Ever Given was finally afloat and "is being secured at the moment". Eyewitnesses have confirmed that the ship has been eventually in a straight position by sharing photos and videos showing it anchored at the eastern bank of the Suez Canal. No official statement from the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has been announced so far revealing the successfulness of the re-floating attempts. During the late hours of Sunday two additional tugboats have been deployed to aid efforts to free the skyscraper-sized vessel in the crucial waterway. Both tugboats, along with at least 10 others already there, were planned to nudge the massive container ship after concluding the dredging work which according to SCA has removed 27,000 cubic meters of sand till Sunday evening. Earlier on Sunday, the night attempts scheduled to be performed on Sunday to re-float the ship were postponed till Monday, Suez Canal's service provider Leth Agencies said in a tweet.
