Art Alert: Cairo Steps and Um Kulthoum are highlights of culture ministry YouTube channel's new releases

As the culture ministry continues to upload concerts and theatre plays on its YouTube channel, two unique events are scheduled for the upcoming days: a full concert by Cairo Steps and a hologram concert featuring Um Kulthoum.
The Cairo Steps concert will premiere on YouTube on Monday 6 April at 9pm. The concert's guest of honour is Mohamed Mounir.

The screening of the hologram concert, which took place at the Cairo Opera House featuring Um Kalthoum, will be available on Tuesday 7 April at 9pm. The concert also includes guest singers May Farouk and Rehab Abdel-Hakim.

The uploads are part of the Culture Between Your Hands initiative, which aims to bring theatre performances, concerts and other cultural events to audiences online amid the current shutdown of theatres, cinemas and concert halls over the coronavirus pandemic.
