He said the ban would be reconsidered as soon as the athletes reported for training. Bekele, who has yet to decide if he will compete in London anyway, told Reuters he had been injured. "I have not discussed the details with the federation," he said. "My injury is quite serious and I would not be able to bring back the performance of old for the time being. I'm only receiving a combination of treatment and training at the moment. "It will take weeks before I return to ordinary training, and some two to three months before I return to competition." "There is a lack of commitment, and our preparations haven't been up to standard so far," Dube said. "We have to distinguish who is in good shape ahead of events."
