A list contains prioritised candidates that represent you. Each list has candidates from more than one party. The most likely candidate to win out of the list is the one at the top of the list. What are the lists running? The lists available are as follows: The Egyptian Bloc: This is a list containing three parties, the Free Egyptians Party, Egyptian Social Democratic Party and Tagammu Party. The Revolution Continues: This list contains the Socialist Popular Alliance Party, the Egyptian Socialist Party, Egypt Freedom, Equality and Development, the liberal Egyptian Current and the Revolution Youth Coalition El Nour: This list is also known as the Islamic Alliance, but the entry is under the name of El-Nour Party. This list contains candidates from El-Nour, Asala, the Salafist Current, and the Construction and Development Party. Freedom and Justice: This list is also known as the Democratic Alliance and has the Freedom and Justice Party as its main contributor to candidates along with several other parties, including Al-Ghad Party, Al-Karama Party and many others. What you need to do before voting? Find out where you're registered by visiting elections2011.eg or by calling 140. Be prepared with your National Id number. Make sure you know where to vote Make sure you do your research about the candidates and lists you are going to choose. What you need to do during voting? You will be given two forms, one for choosing your individual candidates, one for choosing a list. Make absolutely sure that you place the form for the individuals in the box designated for individuals and place the form for the list in the box designated for the list. If you do not, your vote will be invalidated.
