A drop in temperature and moderate summer weather is expected across Egypt on Monday, the first day of the Muslim Eid Al-Adha holiday, state news agency MENA reported. Cairo will reach highs of 33 degrees Celsius and lows of 24C, while the coastal city of Alexandria will witness highs of 30C and lows of 22C. Popular beach destinations among Eid vacationers will also see moderate weather. Highs in the northern Matrouh governorate will not exceed 29C, and lows will reach 21C. Temperatures at Marsa Alam's beaches will reach 36C, decreasing at night to 27C. South Sinai's Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh will witness highs of 38C and lows of 29C. Hurghada, in the eastern Red Sea governorate, will see highs of 37C and lows of 28C.
