Mubarak's former intelligence chief arrives at court to give testimony Omar Suleiman to answer questions about killing of protesters during Egyptian Revolution
Former intelligence chief Omar Suleiman has just arrived at the Cairo Criminal Court to give testimony in the trial of ousted former president Hosni Mubarak. Suleiman will be questioned about the murder of protesters during the Egyptian Revolution with live bullets and pellet guns. Suleiman was appointed vice president in the last days of the Mubarak regime in a desperate attempt by the ousted president to quell the revolution. Mubarak is being tried along with his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, former Minister of Interior Habib El-Adly and five of his assistants on charges of corruption and killing peaceful protesters during the Egyptian Revolution.
