Two police cars torched in tribal clash in Red Sea governorate Conflict between two neighbouring Bedouin tribes triggers attacks against police in the Red Sea Governorate
Security was hightened in Ras Ghaled city in Egypt's Red Sea governorate after some young men set fire to two police cars and pelted a police station with stones. The attack came as a result of on-going clashes between the two Bedouin tribes of Al-Ashraf and Abnoud. Tensions between the two neighbouring tribes had been reported to police days earlier. The police are currently on the lookout for those responsible.
