Egyptian, UAE aid enters Gaza via Rafah
Food, medicine and clothing passes into Gaza through Egyptian border

Aid from Egypt and the United Arab Emirates was delivered to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, reported state news agency MENA on Friday.
MENA quoted an Egyptian official as saying that 40 tons of food aid and 7 tons of medical supplies provided by Al-Azhar, in addition to 40 tons of clothing and blankets donated by the UAE's Red Crescent organisation, had been delivered to Gaza.
The Rafah crossing has remained closed during the Israeli military assault on the Gaza Strip, with the Egyptian authorities citing security concerns. On several occasions injured Palestinians were allowed to cross into Egypt to receive medical treatment.
The Egyptian military has sent several shipments of aid since the eruption of attacks on Gaza.
A 3-day ceasefire will end on Friday. Palestinian factions and Israel have been engaging in negotiations in Cairo during the ceasefire.
So far, over 1,900 Palestinians have been killed by Israel while Palestinian fighters killed 64 Israeli soldiers and 3 civilians.
