Chinese training programme for railway engineers, technicians

CAIRO, May 21, 2018 (MENA) - Transport Minister Hisham Arafat met Monday a delegation of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) to discuss a three-year programme to train 20 railway engineers and technicians.
The trainees should attend two years of the course in China and the third year in Egypt, according to a statement by the Transport Ministry.
This programme is only the start, the Chinese delegation made it clear, noting that many training courses would follow.
Arafat said his ministry is working on a comprehensive plan to hone skills of human resources in order to cope with global and technological changes and upgrade the different sectors of the ministry.
