Sufra Dayma: Choc-bit Cookies By Moushira Abdel-Malek Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups plain flour 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup castor sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 200 gms milk choc bits 1 cup chopped walnuts 250 gms butter Method: Cream butter with sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour and soda together. Fold into butter mixture. Mix in choc bits and nuts. Drop tablespoons of mixture onto baking paper-lined trays. Allow room for spreading. Bake in a preheated moderate oven of 180 degrees Centigrade for 12-15 minutes until goldened. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
