Horoscopes:
Tempting times
By Imhotep
All is not what it seems, my dear Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called. And, if anyone has a nose for news, it is you. Start digging for the real story. Once you have all the facts, you can take your time to decide what the next move is.
Find a way to come to a decision and stick with it. For some Cancerians, the weeks ahead are passionate and extremely emotional. The person of your dreams, my dear romantic Crab, continue to occupy your waking thoughts. Your are downright infatuated. It's bewildering -- but also terrific -- how specific your hopes are.
You're deeply absorbed in your obsession with this person. In one respect, who cares what happens? It's so great to care so much about a person. It says a lot about your capacity for love.
Imhotep understands that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed these days. By late September, you might even sing the song of the spheres, my dear Crabs. It might be a good idea to take sometime off. Let yourself turn inward. Indulge in your creative impulses. Paint the town some other month.
Are you pinching pennies, my dear Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) are sometimes called, only to end up blowing pounds? If so, then it is time to look at where your priorities lie. You must, my dear Lions, try to rein in those urges to indulge in retail therapy.
Remember how it felt last month when Mercury and the Sun were both visiting the Lion's Court? Leo's passionate confidence comes into play in the weeks ahead. You, Leo superstars, are getting tonnes of requests for personal appearances, but you are feeling just a touch overbooked. If that is the case, set some priorities and say no to everything else. Really, your health comes first.
Be that as it may, my dear Lions, a deadline may seem like it has sprung up on you out of nowhere. However, is that really the case? If this is one in yet another series of things you have procrastinated on, it is time to look at how you use your time.
Painted yourself into a corner? There is a couple of ways out. You can wait until the paint dries. Or you can call a friend to open a window and help you climb out of this jam. Make some plans in the weeks ahead, but warn your friends that you are going to remain flexible. Being too rigid might cause you to miss out on a romantic possibility that's definitely worth exploring.
Let me be the first to give you the good tidings, my dear Virgoans, as people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug-22 Sep) are sometimes called. October ushers in joy for Virgoans.
The Sun began its month-long voyage through earnest Virgo on 23 August. The remaining weeks of September, however, will be filled with love and romance. Indeed, this is a most romantic month for Virgoans. Not necessarily love romance, but more of an old-fashioned romance novel -- full of manly chivalry and maidens in distress. Virgoans will make the most of such history in the making. Pull out paper and pen, my dear Virgoans, and create your own classic story.
The Virgoan thirst for knowledge is proverbial. They pursue wisdom and are meticulous seekers of truth. Conscientious Virgoans are in for a month-long celebration of details.
You are my dear Virgoans, feeling the aftershocks of last month's planetary movements when the sun began its month-long voyage through earnest Virgo on 22 August, and Mercury squared Mars on 25 August.
The remaining days of September will find Virgoans energetic with a healthy dose of focus and drive. The month was a time of travel, closing deals and seeing to errands. The first half of September was certainly busy. You, my dear Virgoans, have a chance to relax a little in the weeks ahead.
