Horoscopes:
Happy mediums
By Imhotep
Rolling with the punches can be fun, my dear Rams, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are sometimes called, but romantically you feel like you're sporting more bruises than a heavyweight. It's time you take yourself out of firing range and figure out what's going on.
New liaisons and partnerships get you on the fast track, both at work and in love. Rushing into action to solve your romantic problems is all well and good, but what if you're trying to fix the wrong thing? Before you take action or rush headlong into something you'd regret later, contemplate what it is that really needs repairs.
It may seem like everything is happening at once, but keep cool and it will all fall into place. A family member's financial situation -- something they'll want to talk to you about right now -- will affect your money matters, too. It's time to decide whether to put yourself or your loved one first -- or if there's a happy medium.
You are especially unwilling to waste time on anything other than cold hard facts. Heaven help anyone who tries to pull wool over your eyes, my dear Rams.
Someone who's not from your neck of the woods, my dear Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May) are sometimes called, will be coming along in the weeks ahead, bringing major changes with them. For better or worse, they'll wreak havoc on your carefully-arranged schedule -- but chances are excellent you wouldn't mind one bit.
Your care-taking instincts may be on overdrive. Rather than overanalyse your friend's romantic mistakes, why not turn that analytical eye on your own love life. Maybe you'll learn something.
Love may feel like it is blowing hot and cold right now, but if you take a step back, you'll see that you have lots of options when it comes to who you want in your little black book.
You've finally convinced a long-distance friend to come for a visit -- or you're on your way to accept a long-overdue invitation. Either way, don't be surprised if one of you ends up thinking about relocating. Yes, really.
At any rate, chance meetings could turn into some juicy romantic opportunities if you know how to make the most of them. Make sure you wear something flattering when you leave the house, my dear Bulls.
Secretly worrying about your romantic future, my dear Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) are sometimes called? That's okay -- everybody does it. Try and let yourself relax and observe what's going on in the now before you tie yourself in knots, though.
Anyone who tries to drag you back to reality should be promptly escorted from your presence. After what you've been through lately, you don't need it and don't want it. Besides, a little fantasy never hurt anyone.
There is only one thing on your mind right now: a relationship. Not to worry. You're certainly not the first person on the planet who's experienced this type of thing. It's called infatuation, and if nothing else it is a nice and warm fuzzy.
You may discover something about a romantic prospect's past when you least expect it, if you're discreet. It pays to keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut -- for the rest of December at least.
You know your friend has excellent taste in books, films and clothes, so why not get an honest opinion about the quality of dates in your life? Initially, you may not like what you hear, but you'll get some great insight.
Forget about anything that's ever happened before. All those secrets and mysteries you've been investigating? Let them all go. It is time to enjoy your life to the fullest -- every single day that is still to come.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Cancer, Leo and Virgo
