Horoscopes:
A lesson in lightness
By Imhotep
When the destination is desirable, my dear Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called, expectation speeds your progress. Press on ... this is destiny.
For Crabs, October is a perfect month for sending out romantic messages. Take the time and effort to make contact, describe the not so deserted, but rather fabulous island you are on and expect special visitors.
Fantasy, dreams and romantic imaginings are under your Sun sign's jurisdiction. Cancerians will all be indulging in those tender subjects in the weeks ahead, so when my dear Crabs you pass someone wearing a dazed grin, smile back. If anyone understands what they are feeling, it is you.
Being evasive may, however, be appropriate when it comes to romance right now, but make sure you understand what it is you are evading -- and why. It will help when you tune back in a couple of weeks.
Your home will be a very busy place, complete with kids, family and friends. How nice to know that it is the warm, welcoming vibes you send out that make them want to be around you.
If you are entertaining, you are definitely the host with the most. If you've got a date, Imhotep hopes they're worthy of your fabulous charms. Call the person whose company you enjoy the most and do some quiet celebrating. Your words, in fact, every single syllable that emerges from your lips will carry a confidence that is genuine. No matter what type of conversation you know you need to have, there is no time like now to have it.
A lesson in lightness, my dear Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) are sometimes called, is in the offing for October. It is both easy and complex. The gurus have lots of things to say. Listen to it all, with a rapt face.
Basically, you're on fire -- so do something that fans the flames. October is a dangerously exciting month for Lions. Watch out for the fireworks and bonfires.
It has been unusually quiet, hasn't it? Apparently the heavens have arranged for a reprieve. Now, at last, it may be actually time to relax and have fun. Choose something you and your loved ones have missed doing together. Go on, do it now.
All that is about to change. Roar like the Lion you are. Set the world ablaze. Circumstances are shifting rapidly, and it is bound to be a bit bewildering, my dear Lions. And, just because you are having fun doesn't mean you cannot get serious about life. Tempting as it may be, don't get all wrapped up in yourself entirely. Open up. Move. Keep moving even if you are not entirely sure where you are going.
Things are perking up in the love department for people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug-22 Sep). But they are a pensive lot. Apply your ample creative powers to the realm of romance now, and you'll get fabulous results. Think of a fresh, interesting or down right off way to met people, or update your on-line personal with something unique.
It is a great time to think about putting down roots or making a personal situation more permanent. At the very least, it might be time to look for a bigger place to live or brightening up your home in some manner.
That sentimental, nostalgic roll you've been on lately is coming to an end, to be replaced, happily, by a lovely grounded feeling. This suits most Virgoans, perhaps the most Earth-bound sign.
Virgoans, however, take a particular perspective or view of the Earth: they never lose sight of Earth as a planet -- a plane of thought, or a state of mind. They are often very deeply spiritual people and in the weeks ahead their spiritual powers will come into full play.
Romance depends on one thing, and one thing only: Who you are with and what you've got planned. Plan, you thoughtful Virgins.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius
