Egypt striker Amr Zaki could be returning to Zamalek in the winter break, board member Ayman Younes said. "I had a talk with Zaki two days ago," former Zamalek star Younes told FilGoal.com. "I told him that we need him in the team and he welcomed returning to the club. "We finally agreed that we he would be joining us in the winter." Younes' announcement comes just few days after Ismaili had revealed that Zaki, who currently plays for Kuwait's Al-Salmiya, would welcome joining the Dervishes this winter. It is understood that the 30-year-old Zaki, who was a Zamalek player from 2006 till 2012, has an option in his Salmiya contract to leave the club in the January transfer window. Zaki also stated that the Whites would always remain a priority for him in case he received several offers. The Egyptian FA announced in August that the Premier League season would kick off after the Pharaohs' World Cup qualifying campaign, even so the exact date has yet to be determined.
