The Panorama European film festival 8th session events launches on Wednesday, in Cairo and several cities, which will last to ten days, Al-Bawaba News reported Monday. Founder of the festival, director and producer Marianne Khoury stated that 65 films ,documentaries, classic films from different European countries will be played through 10 sections, including "The Lobster", "Tale of Tales", "45 years "and "Market Law" film, and four French documentaries by the great filmmaker, Nicolas Philibert. Panorama will also display several films from the Balkan countries in the framework of "lighting on Balkans cinema". The festival will feature new sections including section for rising directors; two films of their films had competed for the Academy Award for best foreign film, and section for co-production films. However, the "Carte Blanche" department, includes an anthology of three Egyptian filmmakers, Mohammad Khan , Amr Salama , and Hala Galal, from their favorite European movies.
