Saudi-led airstrikes forced Friday the Shiite Houthi militias to retreat from Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansur Hadi's presidential palace in Aden, Anadolu News agency reported. Earlier this morning, the Houthis retreated from Hadi's Aden residence, where he fled last February after leaving the occupied capital, Sanaa, seized by the rebels. Sources added that an unspecified number of militants had been injured in the raids. The Houthis had advanced in Aden, seizing Hadi's palace on Thursday evening, after clashes with Hadi's allies. Hadi fled to Saudi Arabia late March, after the failure of the national dialogue between the Yemeni parties and the launching the Arab coalition Alliance airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen.
