IS executes 5 Iraqi soldiers in Mosul

The Islamic State jihadist group (IS) executed five Iraqi army soldiers in Mosul after being held captive for eight months, Albawaba News reported on Monday.
Local residents confirmed that IS militants killed the soldiers on Sunday after the group's Sharia court sentenced them to death by a firing squad.
Mosul is Iraq's second largest city, currently the largest city under IS control.
