Horoscopes:
Life's for living
By Imhotep
Live the festive season to the full. Relationships are in the stars, my dear Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called. And, for you, this means paying extra attention to the duos you see around you. Which ones work -- and why? Look at the glue that holds the good pairs together. Get going.
There is someone you see on a daily basis who you are really, really feeling the urge to tell your deepest feelings to -- regardless of how they'll react. This urge is most uncharacteristic for a Crab. Stopping you, however, is out of the question. And, don't be gentle either.
Publicly displaying your emotions isn't something you never like to do. At the moment though, it will be quite difficult for you to keep your feelings hidden. A couple of days in hibernation wouldn't hurt.
It doesn't have to be over-the-top or extravagant, either -- even 15 minutes alone in the park with a good novel or magazine is better than nothing.
Indeed, your health is top-of-mind these days. Not because there's anything to worry about. It's just that the more you exercise and watch what you eat, the better you feel and the better you look.
The heavens are in the mood to help you get up close and personal with someone special. If you are dating expect to take one giant step towards closeness with someone you care about a great deal. If you are not seeing anyone, expect that to change pretty soon. Cheers, and Happy New Year.
If you have been wavering in and out of fantasy, my dear Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) are sometimes called, you are now able to look at the love department with an unbiased, analytical eye. Even if you don't have all the facts, you can extrapolate to figure out what you need.
A person you've always thought of as a friend could easily become far more than that to you now. Don't count on it happening just yet, but definitely pay attention to the signals. In any case, my dear Lions, it is good to be attentive when meeting new people. But, that attention could easily change into being overly critical now. Let them have their say because you decide -- try asking an interesting question.
You're not much for restraint when it comes to shopping, my dear Lions, especially for gifts and that goes double now. Even if it's just perfect be sure you can afford it before you pull out the plastic.
Your emotions are quite literally tumbling out of your mouth -- even the most intense and unexpected ones. It's okay. Just be sure you're in carefully chosen company. Solid trustworthy friends are invaluable as you'll soon come to discover.
Talk about a perfect moment in time, my dear Virgoans, as people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug- 22 Sep) are sometimes called. There's nowhere you'd rather be than where you are right now. And, nobody you'd rather spend far too much money on than the person sitting right there across from you. However, a word of caution: beware of getting involved in romance in the workplace now -- even if it is just gossiping about someone else's affairs. Business and pleasure just don't mix -- not during this festive season, my dear Virgoans. Instead, do some off-beat entertaining -- now how about an afternoon tea? Have everyone bring a new friend. Platonic get-togethers can be fun, too.
You have a pretty good idea of what you want out of a relationship these days. Standards are a good thing, but you don't have to trot them out like a laundry list on the first date. Ease up a little.
At any rate, it is time to ate outside the box. Rather than honing in on someone who is your "type" or who seems to fit, ask out the next person you have a great conversation with, regardless of appearances.
