Horoscopes:
The gentle touch
By Imhotep
A gentle touch is the answer, my dear Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) are sometimes called, especially when it comes to rediscovering your motivation. You'll be able to go about your tasks much more happily if you are firm, not harsh.
Remember to start with baby steps, my dear Sea Goats. A great place to start is work. Delegate responsibilities that have nothing to do with your job and get a change of scenery. It'll help immensely.
You might find yourself using the pursuit of romance to learn more about yourself and possibly to make some radical changes in your life. Your energy is right for self- transformation if you are ready for it.
Friends will follow you to the ends of earth. They will stand by you even when they think that you have gone mad. But foes, especially those lurking in the dark, will use the vilest scurrilous gossip to tarnish your reputations.
You are ready to take up arms and fight for your favourite cause, and there's not much you'll stop at to make sure you get the results you want. Whether defending a person or an issue, you'll do whatever it takes to win. You go!
It is time to emancipate yourself from outdated expectations, my dear Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan-19 Feb) are sometimes called. Don't worry about the past, think about the future. You don't have to plan out every step or name children just yet. But, you should at least think about what you really want in the long-term.
You may need to try something new before you find your next success. It wouldn't be easy to move away from reliable tools, but if you can just look around for a bit, you'll see what you need.
You're feeling a burst of good energy that might get you experimenting with new options and ideas. It is a great time to meet new people and try new lines or styles -- you can see what works.
After weeks of thinking this over, you are absolutely ready to have that sit-down chat with someone -- the one you've been trying to put off indefinitely, whether or not you realise it.
Water Bearers do not usually respect persons of authority unless they do actually care for them deeply. They speak their minds and are prone to clash with both boss and underling when in a bad mood. Next time you speak to the boss, though, be careful what you say. Express your feelings, but do it with tact. Think of a resourceful way to keep evil at bay.
It is time to give yourself a little break from the pursuit of romance, my dear Dolphins, as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) are sometimes called. Sometimes you just need to catch your breath -- and sometimes love sneaks up on you when you are thinking about other things.
It might seem as if someone is guiding events in your favour. Coincidences will make life weird and wonderful, and you might end up in exactly the right place at the right time to pick up a new love.
Someone special really understands your depths, but you have to be willing to give them the chance to get close to you. Yes, you've been hurt before, but that is part of life. Be brave and risk it.
Your impression of this person might not be totally accurate. Talk to someone else who is a good judge of character and see what they have to say about that. Sometimes your emotions can make things more confusing.
There's a tricky month ahead of you -- the kind you probably wouldn't know what to do with until it's over. Your best bet is to find someone who loves and understands you and stick close to them.
next week for Imhotep's reading of Aries, Taurus
and
Gemini
