“Face Time: A Visual Legacy”, a group photographic exhibition
includes over 40 portraits ranging from the 19th Century until the present, each telling its own story and portraying its own personality. The photographs include Anwar Al-Sadat, Pope Shenouda III, Umm Kolthoum and Orson Welles among many others.

The AUC celebrates the life and work of Egyptian artist Ahmed Bassiony (1978-2011) with a large-scale memorial exhibition.
It presents Bassiony's innovative work in interactive digital art, sound art and performance in addition to his influential work as an educator. Sharjah gallery will present an educational exhibition centered on his project Thirty Days Running in The Place (2010). ASCII Foundation for Contemporary Art Education will present an archive of documentation from the experimental sound art workshops and other educational initiatives he developed between 2004-2010 (Closing 20 November).

“Masterpieces”, is the Art Lounge's premiere exhibition showcasing a selection of masterpieces by some of the gallery's finest late, modern & contemporary Egyptian artists who have marked milestones on the art's path as well as the works from different generations of the renowned Egyptian art movement. It will present the evolution of Egypt's eminent artists starting with the stars of the 20th century's Egyptian Modern Art; late artists, the pioneers of the third, fourth & fifth generations, up until the young & vibrant artists of the sixth generation (Closing 29 November).
