Algeria's Yahia joins Saudi's Al Nasr Algeria defender Antar Yahia signs a two-year contract with Saudi side Al Nasr starting from the beginning of next season
Saudi League giants Al Nasr announced on Sunday that they have officially reached an agreement with German side VfL Bochum to acquire the services of the latter's Algerian centre back Antar Yahia for two years. According to Saudi newspaper Al-Jazera, the 29-year-old stopper will arrive at KSA next week to put pen to paper and be introduced officially to the media. Al Nasr were competing against heir Saudi arch-rivals Ahly to sign the Algeria captain but a better financial plan helped them snatch the player. The 2009 Arab player of the year secured a place for Algeria in the 2010 World Cup in the playoffs game against Egypt in the qualifiers.
