Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer has placed a €15 million price-tag on want-away forward Lukas Podolski. The German international is becoming increasingly frustrated at lack of first-team opportunities at the Bavarian giants. Bayern coach Jurgen Klinsmann prefers to field in-form duo Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni upfront. Podolski had publicly expressed his wish to leave Allianz Arena in January and Beckenbauer conditioned his departure upon receiving €15 million from the interested club. "Everything in life has its price. Two and a half years ago, we paid €10 million. Now, the fee is €15 million," he told Bild on Thursday. "You cannot keep a professional if he is unhappy, on the bench, and not playing."
