CAIRO: General Secretariat of the Freedom and Justice Party in Cairo Mohamed el-Beltagy denied the plan for a penalty applied against females who do not wear the veil, because there are issues that need Islamic Sharia to be taken in to account. El-Beltagy said, “What happened after the January 25 Revolution was more than what we dreamt of, but institutions' work is still dependent on the corrupted regime's methods.” “We have a challenge in building the nation's institution on a new foundation, with new regulations depending on quality, specialists, experience and hard work to develop the country,” said el-Beltagy during a seminar entitled “Where does Egypt go?” on Tuesday, December 13. He warned that many people want everything to remain as is. “We must not let these people succeed in foiling our aims, because the history books will say this generation either changed Egypt or had the chance to and were not able to.”
