CAIRO: Silent Majority Coalition founder Fathy al-Saifi has called on the Egyptian people, political powers and liberal movements to organize a million-man march next Friday, November 18. Saifi said the march aims to support the establishment of a civil state in Egypt and to respond to the religious trends that work to control Egypt and exclude the other powers. He added that the religious trends work to promote the idea that they are the only power that can rally the people for demonstrations. He said the political movements are able to rally the people to confront those who raise religious slogans to control the country. In a statement, Saifi criticized the Islamists who claim they move on the behalf of the whole people, while they represent only a part of the Egyptians, which reflects that the Islamic powers work only to achieve personal interests. The statement added that the march will move in Cairo streets to express the people's desire to establish a civil state in Egypt.
