CAIRO: Hamas Chairman Khaled Mashaal attended the first iftar – the sunset meal with which Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan - hosted by the Muslim Brotherhood for Hamas members in Cairo. The leaders discussed the latest political developments and bilateral relations between Egypt and Hamas, especially after Egypt's January 25 Revolution. They also discussed reconciliation between Hamas and other Palestinian factions. Brotherhood General Guide Mohamed Badie gave Mashaal a memorial plaque depicting Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the slogan of the Muslim Brotherhood.
