CAIRO: Dr. Saad Eddin Ibrahim will hold a conference tomorrow on the corruption of new political parties. Ibrahim, who recently returned to Egypt, is a prominent sociology professor. The conference will consist of a series of sessions and discussions with the national group and different political groups. Mahmoud Amer, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and former member of parliament, will attend the conference, as will Yasser Ramadan, the president of al-Ahrar Party. Ibn Khaldoon Center for Developing Studies will host the conference. Ibn Khaldoon Center has been hosting cultural conferences weekly on Tuesdays for 20 years. The center will focus on a number of important issues such as the situation of Nubians and Berbers in addition to other minorities. There is a chance that the Center will communicate with the Muslim Brotherhood, which plans to open its general headquarters in Moqattam, beside the Ibn Khaldoon Center. Arabic here.
