The Confederation of African Football (CAF) handed Ahli midfielder Hossam Ghaly a four-match ban for the straight red card he had received in the 1-0 loss at JS Kabylie. Ahli general manager Muharram Al-Ragheb told FilGoal.com: "The CAF has officially informed us with the decision. Now the club's football committee is considering a reaction." It's still unknown why former Tottenham Hotspur man Ghaly was dismissed late in the ill-tempered Champions League match. An ugly on-pitch scuffle erupted with four minutes remaining, when the Red Devils had an equalizer from Mohamed Shawky correctly ruled out for offside. Some Ahli players clashed with security personnel, with punches and kicks flying from both sides for no apparent reason. Some Kabylie players were also involved in the unfortunate incident just before the stoppage time. Ahli, whose bus was also stoned before and after their match in Algeria, will host Kabylie on August 29th.
