Wolfsburg right-back Cristiano Zaccardo is set to be out for up to 14 days after picking up an injury during his team's friendly game against Greuter Furth on Monday. The German club said on its official website that scans confirmed the Italian player has torn a ligament in his right ankle. The injury means that Zaccardo is now doubtful for his team's crucial Bundesliga clash against champions Bayern Munich on October 25th. Alongside Andrea Barzagli, the World Cup winner joined Wolfsburg from Serie A side Palermo this summer.
