Ivory Coast manager Henri Michel said on Friday he doesn't fear Argentina, stressing that Group C is wide open for any team to advance to the next round. "I haven't studied Argentina more than any others," the Frenchman was quoted as saying by FIFAworldcup.com. The African Cup of Nations finalists play Argentina in their World Cup opener on Saturday. "I work on the strength of my own team. Argentina are a great football nation; they have a massive player reserve and are competitive by nature. "We lack a bit of experience but we have a talented and unified bunch. There are no favorites in this group." Michel, who guided France and Morocco to the World Cup in the 1980s and 1990s, said he is satisfied over his side's form, especially after their 3-0 friendly victory over Slovenia. "We've made a lot of progress in recent weeks and aren't making mistakes now," Michel said. "I'm very happy. The physical work is done, now we'll focus on tactical aspects. We're almost there, just some small details to work on." Ivory Coast play also Holland and Serbia in Group C of the World Cup.
