Sinai [Egypt] - A terrorist was arrested and three explosives were destroyed by the armed forces on Friday in Central Sinai, according to Army Spokesperson Tamer el-Refaei. Another vehicle loaded with explosives and drugs was stopped by the forces affiliated with the third field army, as part of several military operations aiming to eliminate takfiris and terrorists based in North and Central Sinai. On July 27, fourteen terrorist explosive devices and five shelters were destroyed in North Sinai by the army forces affiliated with the second field army. The statement noted that the efforts of the armed forces in combating terrorist activity and arresting takfiri elements came as part of the fourth stage of the "Right of the Martyr" Operation in North Sinai and has continued 10 days so far.
