Cairo's prosecution referred Sunday six elements linked to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to the criminal court over terror-related charges, Al-Bawaba News reported. The defendants were accused of attempting murder of judge Moataz Khafagi and his son in addition to joining a banned group, illegal possession of weapons and assaulting state institutions. Security investigations revealed that the defendants were monitoring the judge's residency and planted two improvised explosive devices near the judge's house, which were detonated upon his arrival with his son.
