136 attacks on medics, 47 dead and thousands injured, says Ministry of Health

PALESTINIAN medics and ambulances were attacked a shocking 136 times since the start of October, new figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health show.
The news comes as the current wave of violence and reprisals enters it's third week, and shows no signs of slowing.
The report, published 1pm yesterday (Monday 19 October), also listed the 46 Palestinians who were killed, which included ten children.
Another man, Odai Masalmeh (24) was shot dead in Hebron district this morning, on the accusation of stabbing a soldier, bringing the death toll to 47.
Live ammunition was widely used, and 1850 people were also beaten and suffered burns at the hands of the IOF or settlers.
And the figures count only those who were treated in hospital, meaning the final number could be even higher.
The Ministry of Health, based in the West Bank city of Ramallah, stated:
46 people were killed, including 10 children
About 1850 people were shot, beaten and or suffered burns at the hands of IOF or settlers
About 700 were shot with live bullets
About 770 were shot with rubber coated metal bullets
There were another 136 attacks against medical teams and ambulances
Thousands were treated for toxic gas inhalation
In a statement to the press, a spokeswoman said that eight children were killed in the West Bank and another two in Gaza.
The youngest child was 16 months old, and the oldest was 17.
The number killed had been 45, but officials said medical neglience at the Soroka hospital in Beersheba, Israel, had caused another death.
