New & Renewable Energy Authority Chairman, Mohamed Salah Al Sobki said Tuesday that he expects that the alternative energy source agreement will be signed in November, Al Bawaba News reported. Sobki added that that the total power that will be generated through renewable energy will reach 20% by 2022, noting that energy field in Egypt is considered a main target in the its development process. He pointed out the energy produced from waste represents about 3% to 5% of the electrical energy generated, adding that that the prices of energy produced from waste depending on the technology used and the type of waste.
