All religions, in essence, call for freedom, justice, truth, and philanthropy. We need religion, as we are born with this strong spiritual affection (similar to maternal affection). We should express this affection to be psychologically healthy. Religion explains the origin of the universe, and clearly visualizes the afterlife. Religion links our acts to a system of rewards and punishments, hence inciting us to do good deeds and prohibits us from committing sins. Thus, religion is indispensable for humanity.
