Many thanks, Mrs Sheila Bower A: The rate I mentioned in the summer bargains article are only applicable to Egyptians and foreign residents in Egypt, not for non-resident foreigners. This point was mentioned at the beginning of the story. Rates for non- resident foreigners are much higher than those open to Egyptians and foreign residents, who enjoy about 50 per cent discount of the hotel rate. My advice is to contact a travel agency at home as they could have deals with various hotels and resorts in Egypt, including The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh.
